Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to all.

It has been a strange Christmas here.

My granddaughter is in the hospital with severe dehydration. They thought it was due to a stomach virus/ear infection but she is also clutching her stomach and crying. It is hard to know with a two year old.

Some of our Christmas has been nice. A nice time yesterday morning with my stepson and husband. A Christmas tea with my mother this morning. In between a visit to the hospital where some gifts were given to the sick baby. I am going again soon.

My son is in Quatar. My love goes out to all soldiers serving the country at this time of year.

Merry Christmas, Blog Queen!

I'm sorry to hear about your grandbaby. My 16-year old was really sick all of last week. He finally returned to better by Saturday and by Christmas Eve he was back to his old self. He didn't play the piano for an entire week and that indeed was strange for him.

Otherwise, the holday was fine. It was my first Christmas in the new house so we 'christened' so to speak. My husband's family was here on Sunday afternoon for dinner and we had my family here on Christmas day. I was pooped by the time it was over. Today, I haven't even curled my hair. I'm planning to sew some today. I made a lot of Christmas presents buy I still have two to go. I guess they are late, huh?

Have you done any other writing? I tell you I've been dry since NCCAT!

Talk to you soon!

Hey Vanessa,

I will e-mail you. I've done a little writing but not much. I am concentrating more on my artwork right now, see the above post.

I hope the son is much better. I had the dreaded stomach bug the day after Christmaas for about four or five days. Much better now and back to school.

Sounds like your Christmas was fun though.
